Eastern Bluebird
Many cultures consider Bluebirds a sign of good luck. They were on the verge of extinction in the early 1900’s due to the competitiveness for food between
other small birds. There is still a boom in birdhouses made for Bluebirds. I took some of these pictures in the Hitchcock woods of South Carolina.
